What happened to her?

Hey Wifey,

Can I ask you a question?

What happened to her?

Not the woman everyone else sees, but the woman underneath the titles. The one who used to laugh a little louder, say yes a little more often, get dressed up just because, and make time for things that brought her joy.

Years ago, I found myself asking the same question.

Life was full. Marriage, motherhood, responsibilities, schedules, work, and all the things that came with being needed by everyone around me. Nothing was necessarily wrong, but somewhere along the way I realized I was spending so much time taking care of everyone else that I wasn't creating much space for myself.

And if I'm honest, there was a little guilt attached to that. Taking time for myself felt selfish. Doing something simply because I wanted to felt selfish. Choosing me felt selfish.

So I started creating intimate gatherings for women.

Not because I was trying to build a brand or host events, but because I wanted a space where I could connect, laugh, learn from other women, and remember who I was outside of being Jay's wife and somebody's mama!

What I discovered was that I wasn't the only woman who felt that way.

And sixteen years later, I think many women still do.

Maybe that's what happens in midlife. The kids grow up. The routines settle in. Life becomes predictable. Before you know it, you're spending more time managing life than actually experiencing it.

But here's what I've learned- Life is still meant to be lived. There are still memories to make, friendships to build, experiences to enjoy, and new chapters to write. There is still so much of you left to discover.

That's one of the reasons I'm so excited about Sizzle Social Night Out on August 15.

I didn't create it as another event to put on your calendar. I created it as a reminder that connection still matters, laughter still matters, and making time for yourself still matters.

We'll gather for an evening of mocktails, music, meaningful conversations, curated shopping, our Signature Fragrance Bar experience, and the opportunity to simply enjoy being in the company of other incredible women.

Maybe she isn't gone at all.

Maybe she's simply waiting for an invitation.

I'd love for you to join us, and don't forget, our email subscribers receive a special Sizzle Insider 10% discount that can be applied toward any of this year's event experiences.

See you Soon

On August 15, 2026, I’m bringing back Sizzle Social: Girls Night Out—and baby, we’re doing it BIG. This year we’re stepping into a bold, vibrant peacock-inspired experience that’s going to be fun, electric, and full of energy. It’s a night to connect, laugh, show up, and just be in a room with women who are ready to live a little louder and a little freer. Tickets are limited, so when you see the flyer below, go ahead and secure your spot.

Then I’m hosting something brand new that I am incredibly excited about—Own Your Bold Fire: The Midlife Reinvention Experience. This is not just an event, this is an experience. We’re talking real, hands-on reinvention—closet edits, learning how to take your look from day to night, makeup demonstrations that actually make sense, bra fittings (yes, we’re getting it all the way together), color analysis to help you find your bold signature color, and powerful reinvention stories from women who decided to choose themselves. This room is about helping you see yourself differently and step into this next chapter with confidence, clarity, and excitement.

And then we’re closing out the year on October 24, 2026, with the Heart Spaces Wellness and Lifestyle Brunch at Neiman Marcus. This year’s theme is Aligned and Activated, and this experience is all about pouring into your heart, your life, and your next. It’s a beautiful, elevated space filled with real conversations, empowering stories, and moments that help you reflect, reset, and move forward with intention.

At the end of this year, I don’t want you looking back wishing you had done things differently. I want you to look back and say, “I showed up. I tried something new. I chose myself.”

So whether you decide to join one experience or step into all three with me, just don’t spend this year on the sidelines.

I would genuinely love to have you in the room.

With love, boldness, and a whole lot of sizzle,

Coach. Author. Firestarter.

Hey Sizz, As we celebrate Juneteenth, I'm reminded that freedom isn't just something we honor in history—it's something we have to choose for ourselves. For many women, the biggest prison isn't physical. It's spending years showing up for everyone else while slowly losing sight of who you are. That's why I created the Sizzle Series. These experiences were designed to help women reconnect with themselves, build meaningful relationships, have courageous conversations, and create space for...

Hey Sizz, As we approach Memorial Day weekend, I want to first pause and acknowledge the true meaning of this holiday. Memorial Day is about honoring and remembering the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to this country. Their courage, service, and sacrifice deserve our gratitude and remembrance. But as I sat with the word “memorial,” I also couldn’t help but think about how many women have quietly forgotten themselves while showing up for everybody else. Not...
