Maybe God Is Preparing You for More

Hey Sizz,

One of the hardest things I've ever had to admit is this...

I don't think I was intentionally living.

I was living responsibly.

I was being a wife. A mom. Building a career. Serving others. Showing up for everyone who needed me.

And while none of those things were wrong, somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself a simple question:

What kind of life do I actually want to live?

For years, I prayed for bigger opportunities and the next chapter God had for me. Looking back now, I realize God wasn't withholding anything from me.

He wasn't just preparing my future. He was preparing me.

There were parts of me that still needed to grow. I was still discovering who I was, what I valued, what brought me joy, and what it looked like to live with intention instead of simply living by obligation.

Maybe that's one of the gifts of midlife.

Not that life suddenly becomes easier—but that we finally begin asking different questions. We become more open to new experiences. More willing to trust God. More interested in living the life He created us for instead of simply repeating the life we've always known.

If that resonates with you, here's my encouragement for this week:

Don't be afraid of the new thing God may be doing in you.

Sometimes the greatest transformation doesn't begin when our circumstances change. It begins when our perspective changes.

Here's a question to sit with this week:

Where have I been living on autopilot, and where might God be inviting me to live more intentionally?

I'd love for you to think about that.

And if you're looking for a place to laugh, reconnect, meet incredible women, and step away from the routine for one unforgettable evening, I'd love to invite you to Sizzle Social Night Out on Saturday, August 15.

Whether you choose General Admission, treat yourself to the VIP Experience, or grab a Bestie Pass and bring your favorite friend, I truly believe you'll leave encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that some of the most beautiful chapters of our lives are still ahead of us.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for you.

Hearts & Sparks,

Coach. Author. Firestarter.

Hey Sizz, Over the past few weeks, a few women have asked me, "So...is Own Your Bold Fire another conference?"The answer is simple.Absolutely not.I didn't create another conference because I don't believe most women need more information. We already know we should take care of ourselves, believe in ourselves, and make ourselves a priority. What many of us need is something different. We need a space to pause. To reconnect. To try something new.To have honest conversations. To remember who we are...
